Handcrafted teapot made from pure Yixing clay of the Lu Ni variety. Created in Yixing by master Fan Xue Jun and his wife, master Qian Hua Di.

The teapot is new, so we strongly recommend preparing it before use. Wash it with warm water, then pour boiling water into it and drain after 1–2 minutes (repeat this 2–3 times). This will help remove any dust left from the firing process.

For proper care of the teapot, we recommend washing it with warm water (without using detergents) after each use and drying it thoroughly.

Master

The master couple Fan Xue Jun and Jiang Hua Di have been crafting Yixing teapots since the early 1980s. They began their careers as artisans at the renowned 2nd Yixing Craftsmanship Factory. In the 1990s, they started working independently. Their works have won numerous awards and are highly valued among collectors in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The masters work exclusively with pure Yixing clay, without any preservatives, plasticizers, or dyes. They possess their own reserves of clay ore, accumulated in the 1990s when the main Yixing mines were still operational.
