Description

This tea stands apart from all others in our collection, as it is the only blend we have brought for you. Usually, we work with single-origin teas, focusing on the unique characteristics of their terroirs. But this time, we couldn’t pass up this masterpiece created by the experienced Master Yang from a blend of five different tea varieties.

At the core of the blend lies Zhong Guo — a hybrid of the Feng Qing large-leaf Assamica and the Wu Yi variety Wu Yi Shui Xian. This hybrid was developed over 50 years ago. Thanks to its unique taste and aroma, it has gained increasing popularity year after year.

Organoleptics

The aroma of the warmed leaves is rich and complex: tropical fruits, mango, and bird cherry with spicy hints of cinnamon and cocoa. The leaves are heavy, resonant, and intact. The infusion’s color shines in a red-cognac palette. Light and sweet at first, it becomes bright and contrasting in the middle infusions. The aftertaste is intense, complex, sweet-astringent, winey, and very long-lasting. In the empty cup, aromas of incense, cinnamon, vanilla, lily, rosehip, and cherry syrup linger. The powerful Cha Qi that can rival sheng puerhs.

State

Relaxing and warming, it beckons you into its tea forest. This tea, like no other, is perfect for beginning a journey into the amazing world of authentic, pure teas.
